The Maple Street Co-operative Society Ltd was established in Maleny in late 1979 and is still going strong into the 21st century. Our mission is to provide our community with healthy, ethical and progressive choices for personal, cultural and planetary well-being through the practice and promotion of co-operative principles.
Maple Street Co-op aims to educate our members and the community at large, and as part of this publishes a bimonthly newsletter [click here]. The Co-op also represents our members by submitting our views to governments at local, state and federal levels on important issues that affect us, from the food we eat to the environment in which we live.
